Retail stores do not carry clothing or accessories for My Size Barbie. She was designed with Toddler size 3 and
Toddler shoe size 5 in mind.
She came into existence in 1992 and carries the 1972 Barbie trademark head.
She was originally issued in Caucasian (white skin) with blue eyes, but is now available as a Red head with green
eyes, Brunette with blue eyes, Afro-American with brown eyes and Hispanic Brunette with brown eyes.
Many times her name is confused with My Life Size Barbie or Just My Size Barbie. However, her true registered
trademark name is My Size Barbie Doll.
She has come in almost all the Barbie's Fairy Tale themes such as Rapunzel and Ballerina.
She stands 36" tall, although other people will tell you 38", which is not accurate.
One sewing pattern has been released for MSB. Simplicity Patterns #8817. Simplicity created this one and has
since been discontinued, but can be found for sale on eBay.
Prices vary and the competition for original patterns is often fierce. I've seen prices going for up to $100!
